~Bintan~ Part II

Day 1
Our ferry departs at 8pm on Friday...We were very annoyed by the cab-driver we took to TMFT!
Here goes the story... We flagged a cab over at my plc...then when we got in...and told the driver our destination, he replied "Huh...where's that?" Then anne said that if he don't know how to go we can get down....but the driver mumbled and drove off...He ask if go by ECP...and I said PIE instead...but he insisted that ECP can get there....FINE..We dun care..as long as we dun miss our ferry...Along the way, he was still mumbling and we heard him say "%*#%" & we were like W.T.H....scolding vulgarities!!! Eventually...he still took the PIE and asked us which exit...I was like "Duh-uh...thot u know the way..."That's not all...when i say go by the S'pore Expo road...he was like no-no....cannot...NVM.....in the end he went the way i suggested...nvm...then he asked us to look out for the signboard on our LEFT!!....does it sound like he dunno the way in the first place!!....then he said "$&*%#@" AGAIN...That's twice for the record.
As there was slight jam on our way to PIE, he was hitting his horn constantly and even when there's NO car infront of him....What attitude is that...Finally, we reached TMFT...but the driver can't differentiate ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE.....He actually dropped us off at the Arrival hall...and we had to walk over to Departure Hall with our bags and stuff....PISSED!

Anne decided to call up the cab company and complain....the Customer svc officer would get back to us on tuesday....

After the annoying ride, we happily check-in and waited for our ferry...can't wait to get to the resort.The ferry ride and transport to the resort was ok...then we checked in to our room...the room we were assigned to was so far away from the main lobby and it was on ground floor....its so desserted. Although the room is spacious for 2 of us....we prefer a cozier room..so we called the front desk to change room. The service was fast and got our new room.The minute we went into the room, we felt so comfortable in it...so we settled down and changed out into comfort clothes.It was 9 plus at night when we settled down and ate our dinner. We agreed to get out of our room and stroll around the resort after dinner but guess we were both too tired and comfy to get our butt out so decided to stay in our room.
