DAY 3 in Perth

Date: 21th November 2005, Monday
Time: 8 am
Venue: Swan Valley Day Tour + night tour of King Park

We managed to find a day tour at the Visitor Lounge at one of the mall at Murray St. Initially, we wanted to go to Margaret River tour…but couldn’t find any…after looking through stacks of brochures, we decided to take the Swan Valley indulgence tour…$75 per person which is reasonable.
- A tour of historic Guildford, visiting Village heritage precinct
- Wine-tasting at wineries
o Sandalford Caversham Estate
o
Lancaster Wines
o
Edgecombe Brothers
- Gourmet platter lunch at
Jane Brook Estate Wines
- Visited Oggie's ice creamery…yummy ice-cream!!!
- Chocolate truffle and chocolate tasting at
Margaret River Chocolate Factory
- Ghost Tour of Guildford's historic Rose & Crown Hotel. *faint*

*my face red from all the wine-tasting*

We got back to our hotel at about 5.40pm…and had to struggle with all the stuffs we bought. **18 bottles of wine!!!**

We freshen up a little and got ready to meet another of Kim’s friend, Daniel for dinner. Daniel picked us up at our hotel and drove us to a pasta café Kim said serve nice pasta…the place called Tia Amo. The pasta serving was HUGE…coz I dun eat much…so as usual…only ate a small part of the HUGE portion…hahaha

After dinner…Daniel suggested bringing us up to King Park for the night view. The wind was strong and cold up at King Park and we 3 girls were freezing…Christine actually was running up the slope to keep warm…hohoho…lucky I brought my jacket along but still it couldn’t keep out the cold wind.
The view there was breathtaking~
Impressed with the ‘The Flame of Remembrance’…apparently the flame would burn continuously and never die…Daniel confirmed that it didn’t die even when it was raining…coz he saw it with his own eyes during one rainy day…haha

*strong cold wind blowing...*

What a fulfilling and tiring day~
