DAY 5 in Perth

Date: 23th November 2005, Wednesday
Time: 9 am
Venue: UWA tour + Shopping day + dinner at Anita’s place

Kim brought us to UWA…coz she missed her school and at the same time gave us a mini tour of UWA and showed us where she studied…where she stayed during her days in UWA…Think we spent about an hour plus there.

Initial plan was to head to King Park but the weather that day was really hot so we decided to give up the idea and head to shopping mall for the air-con…haha…

That’s what happen when you have an all-girls group…shopping is always higher up in priority.
Hmm…nothing much to write coz what can you write on shopping…

Oh…Kim brought us to Harbour Town shopping mall where most stuffs are sold at warehouse price…which is sooo cheap. We actually walked to Harbour Town from the Wellington bus port…gosh…it was a long walk and almost gave up coz the sun was strong…but at least its cooling. Got a bit of tan from the walking…

Let me see…I got a pair of Nike for my mum, a pair of Nike kids shoe for myself (hahaha…yup…I can fit into a size 6Y for kids), two bottoms, 4 tops (2 for my brother)…think that’s all I got. But Kim bought the most stuffs and Christine got herself a new jacket at a really low price…

We ended our shopping spree when there was a power failure at the mall…haha…we were saying that it’s a sign to stop us from buying more stuffs…coz can’t use credit card without electricity…hahaha…as we were all low in cash and had to sign.

As this was the last day in Perth…leaving early the day…we did finally dash of shopping at Hay St & Murray St…hahaha…was quite rush because we were meeting Anita for dinner at her place.

Was supposed to help Anita with her computer and also try out her husband's Nasi Goreng...haha...trust me...that's the best dish we've eaten since we left Singapore...at last we tasted something spicy and salty...hahaha

Anita, her hubby, Uno and her mum were very warm and friendly...made us felt at home. Being a guest in the house of our tour guide was on our itinerary. But we are glad that we’ve got to know Anita and family…she’s really a very good tour guide and we had lots of fun with her on our Swan Valley Tour.
